Fairview Farms Alpacas is a Registered Agri-tourism Farm with the State of Kansas. We work closely with the State Department of Commerce to promote Agri-tourism in Kansas, with specific emphasis on education in History, Arts, & Nature.

In conjunction with the Master Spinner Level 1 Course, Fairview Farms Alpacas and The Sheperd's Mill will be holding a 2 day Fiber Sorting Seminar. This course will include 1 day of classroom training and 1 day of shearing and fiber sorting at Fairview Farms Alpacas. This is a great hands on opportunity to learn about fiber production, harvesting, and grading. This is an excellent introduction to the Master Spinners Course. Fairview Farms Alpacas is located 20 miles SW of Hays, in the heart of Kansas. We are a dynamic family run business covering all facets of the alpaca industry. We breed for top quality Huacaya alpacas. We strive to produce alpacas with superior conformation, full fiber coverage from topknot to toes, dense fleeces with fine microns, and wonderful temperaments. All of our animals are ARI registered, DNA tested, and microchipped. We maintain current medical records and history of lineage.
